Self Acceptance (Embracing Newness)

Updated: Jun 10, 2022

"It starts with recognizing that, as humans, we’re perfectly imperfect." -- Jen Fisher

Yes, the struggle is real. Self-acceptance is a vital part of self-care. As survivors, we all share some common aspects of the cancer journey, which means we have already experienced unanticipated trauma. To add to this we are living in tough times. It's during these times that we are often harder on ourselves.

Let's travel lite - by allowing ourselves to be human, our own best friend, and by eliminating the things that drain us, while giving attention to our self-talk, ensuring that it is positive.

After all, mental health is also health and if we desire to live our best lives we cannot overlook this crucial part (that part). If and when you struggle reach out to those who motivate and encourage you and/or consult a professional.
